Another successful refurbishment project was completed. This time, at the newly renovated Merthyr bus station where privacy and aesthetics were equally important.
Merthyr bus station recently underwent significant refurbishments and required a solution for privacy issues – particularly around the glass corridor overlooking the main waiting area. Privacy was essential, not only to make travellers more comfortable but also to prevent potential issues like upskirting. Additionally, the client wanted the solution to enhance and modernise the overall look and feel of the space.

What did we do?
a
After assessing the site, we recommended a combination of external vinyl graphics and internal frosted window film. Cut frosted film was specifically chosen for the walkway’s glass panels, effectively preventing visibility from below without losing natural daylight.
The same graphic design was then used both inside and out, creating consistency and visually updating the building. Given the high volume of public footfall at the bus station, durability was also key, so the materials used were specifically selected to withstand continuous daily use.
