In 2006 we were approached by Neath Port Talbot Council to initiate a long term project of upgrading their premises using 3M safety film to comply with Regulation 14 and areas of special risk.
Initially we concentrated on school premises by conducting a survey giving a comprehensive breakdown of items and areas that needed to be upgraded. Part of the survey included costs to enable the council to predict budgeting. These premises were subsequently upgraded using 100 micron 3M Scotchshield Safety film with a 10 year warranty.
After completion and working closely with the council we were able to output files necessary to integrate into their oracle database centralising data for all their staff.
This has been a very successful contract for both parties and continues to be ongoing as we have now moved on to bring public buildings in to comply with current legislations.
