#APontheJob recently teamed up with T Richard Jones – a respected family-run construction firm known for “Building On A Firm Foundation” – to fit out the new purpose-built TAWE Ward for Phlebotomy at Morriston Hospital.
Healthcare environments need products that ensure patient privacy, maintain hygiene standards, and withstand heavy daily use, so Morriston Hospital had three specific requirements for the new TAWE Ward:

To meet these key requirements, Applied Products recommended and installed:
- 3M Prestige 70 External Window Film:
Applied to the exterior of ward windows, this film manages solar heat effectively while maximising natural daylight. - Yewdale R40-53 Heavy Duty Roller Blinds:
Blinds were installed using antimicrobial, Biosafe-accredited materials – Yewdale Defiant Dart PVC for ward privacy and Yewdale Roe 3% fabric at reception for screen privacy without losing daylight. Both fabrics have GREENGUARD certification, ensuring a healthier indoor environment. - Silent Gliss Cubicle Tracks:
Installed throughout the ward, these durable cubicle tracks support disposable curtains, reinforcing hygiene practices while providing flexible privacy options for patients.
