Enhance the performance of your windows with 3M™ Window Films

3M™ invented window films 50 years ago and have spent the last 50 years innovating and improving them. As a world leader in adhesive and film technologies, 3M™ window films enhance products you use every day-laptops, TVs, mobile phones and more.

Solar Control Window Films

The main purpose of these window films is to reduce a combination of the suns heat and glare entering your building through the glass. These film also therefore help to reduce your energy costs which typically represent approximately 30% of a building’s annual budget. Rising energy bills and the introduction of carbon reduction targets, have focused building owners on finding ways to reduce their bills. Solar control window films are a cost effective solution to help towards achieving this. All of these windows films also reduce the UVA and UVB entering through the glass.

The window films in this series have a highly reflective mirror appearance which provides optimum solar control performance with the addition of one-way-vision during daylight hours. Its metalized technology reflects the suns rays while allowing optical clarity to be maintained and rejects excess light to reduce glare. The films block almost the entire amount of UVA and UVB rays which are the main cause of fading and skin damage. This also extends the life and vibrancy in furniture, fittings and fabrics.
