Applied Products Case Study

Glangwili Hospital

Location: Carmarthen

Sector: Commercial – Healthcare

Products Applied: Window Blinds, Printed Graphics, and Anti-Slip Solutions.

We recently had the privilege of working with Glangwili Hospital and being part of a £25.2 million upgrade to their premises. Our task was to provide privacy solutions to enhance the experience of patients and staff.

After visiting the site to look at the job, take measurements, and assess the breadth of the project, we discovered that their existing blinds were no longer suitable for their needs, especially when it came to creating a positive environment. To address this, we advised the installation of new blinds that could offer adjustable privacy and the right aesthetics for the experience they wanted to create. As different areas within the hospital had different requirements, we ended up choosing and installing the most suitable blinds for office areas (where privacy was most important) and wards (where both privacy and aesthetics were necessary).

In addition to the blinds, our dedicated team collaborated closely with the hospital staff to address design elements, including colour schemes and design, ensuring a calm and welcoming atmosphere for patients. The uplifting aesthetics and privacy were vital considerations, as it is important that staff and patients feel comfortable and at ease in their environment.

The outcome of our partnership with Glagwili Hospital was a very positive one! We met their functional and aesthetic requirements and, most importantly, enhanced the working environment for both staff and patients.

“We approached Applied Products for this project as they´ve carried out a lot of work for us at the Hospital, and we are always happy with their workmanship.

As usual, the whole experience was easy from start to finish. They had a quick response time to visit the site and return the quotation, and the work was completed just as efficiently.”
